Psalm 119:89-96
1. His Word will always be reliable v.89
A. It gives us help in times of need
Proverbs 30:5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
B. It gives us guidance in our daily life.
2 Peter 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
2. His Faithfulness will always be great v.90
God will always be Faithful even if we are not. God will always be faithful in every circumstances. God will remain faithful no matter what people say, think or do.
2 Timothy 2:11-13 It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: 12 If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us: 13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.
Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast to the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised
2 Thessalonians 3:3 But the Lord is Faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil
3. His wisdom will always be matchless v.91
wisdom as “the ability to discern or judge what is true, right, or lasting.” Knowledge, on the other hand, is “information gained through experience, reasoning, or acquaintance.” Knowledge can exist without wisdom, but not the other way around. One can be knowledgeable without being wise. Knowledge is knowing how to use a gun; wisdom is knowing when to use it and when to keep it holstered.
A. There is nothing hard for him to do
Luke 1:37 For with God, nothing is impossible
B. There is nothing that can stop him
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
Isaiah 55:11 So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: It shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
4. His Desire will always be the same. v.92
a. That people might be saved v.92 & 94
John 3:16-17 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
b. That we might remember him v.93 & 95

Hebrews 13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
b.c Remembering what he has done for us
Exodus 13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which ye came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the Lord brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
Let us make God’s desire to be our Desire
John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.
Conclusion:
Matthew 24:35
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away
Rest in God’s word. It will never fail you.
Whenever things don’t make sense to you. Always go back to the Word of God
When things don’t go according to your plan. Always go back to the Word of God
When you think God has given up on you. Always go back to the Word of God
When you think Your life has no Purpose. Always go back to the Word of God
