Do you have Peace?

John 14:27-31

What is Peace? Peace is what everybody wants.

How would you define Peace?

• Some feel at peace when they don’t have to think about what they are going to eat for breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

• Some feel at peace when they don’t have to wait for another paycheck day to buy what they want

or when they have to pay their bills. And to be fair, Even Rich men don’t have peace while having billions of Dollars. They have a big fear of losing their overnight.

• Some feel at peace when they don’t hear anything bad on the News • Some feel at peace when they don't hear people talking bad about them SOME PEOPLE FEEL AT PEACE WHEN EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE GOING THEIR WAY Let's take a look on what the bible says about Peace.

1. The Source of Peace v.27

             A. Jesus as the source of True peace

                         Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

             B. Satan as the source of False peace.

2. The Recipient of Peace v.28-29

             Those who Truly Believe

             Isaiah 48:22 There is no peace, saith the Lord, unto the wicked.

             Clearing their Doubts

             Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:

3. The outcome of receiving Peace v.31

             It results to obedience

             John 20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you.

             No matter what or who stands in our way, we will proclaim the Gospel.

On what basis can you say that you have peace right now?
